Research Interests
Dr Isoherranen’s laboratory focuses on understanding the pharmacokinetics and metabolism of THC, CBD and their metabolites. Her research program explores the variability in cannabinoid disposition using population and physiologically-based modeling, and clinical and preclinical pharmacokinetic studies with special focus on the impact of pregnancy and pregnancy related hormones on cannabinoid disposition.
