UW Mass Spectrometry Center

Test tubesThe UW Mass Spectrometry Center is available to measure cannabinoids in biological matrices. It is located in I-court (I–093) of the Health Sciences Building on the University of Washington campus.

The Mass Spectrometry Center is an open-access self-sustaining instrument laboratory providing a wide variety of mass spectral services to the University and the research community-at-large (including commercial) on a recharge basis.

UW Pharmacokinetics and Modeling Lab

CentrifugeThe laboratory offers analysis of drug metabolites in biological fluids and tissues; reaction phenotyping for drug metabolizing enzymes; and pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic modeling.

The laboratory serves research communities of the University of Washington, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and other academic and patient care facilities.

At the present, the PK Lab supports clinical studies through the analysis of drugs in an array of biological matrices, along with analysis and modeling of pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamic (PK-PD) data. The lab also has the capability to conduct studies for the in vitro characterization of drug metabolism and transport.
